Bursaries

By supporting Staffordshire University’s Horizon Fund, you are investing in the future of our students, our University, society, and the world – one example of the support available is the bursary programme.

Students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, benefit from bursaries that alleviate hardship. For those considering taking up their place, an offer of a bursary may be the determining factor between them going into higher education or not, and for those already in higher education it can mean the difference between completing their studies or not.

Example: An undergraduate finds themselves in financial difficulties, they are unable to access any more government funding and their family are not in a position to help. Without financial support, they are unable to continue their studies and are forced to withdraw.

Our bursaries can help a student overcome barriers, achieve their potential and prepare them for the working world of the future - ready to make a positive impact and create a better tomorrow.

Each academic year, Staffordshire University’s Horizon Fund provides support to hundreds of students from a variety of backgrounds.

This support is fully dependent on the generous donations received to the Horizon Fund.
